About The Position

As an Environmental Health and Safety Representative, the responsibilities include the continued implementation of a safety management system to ensure workplace safety is attained to the highest standard. Additionally, the development, implementation, and oversight of environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, and programs. This position reports to the EHS Manager and is located in Shady Grove, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Safety with a minimum of 1-year experience in EHS OR a High School diploma with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in general industry safety practice including experience stated in job functions.
Experience from a construction or manufacturing background preferred.
Knowledge in OSHA and Regulatory Compliance including air, water, waste, preferred.
Ability to positively influence the company safety culture.

Responsibilities

Implementation of new safety management system programs, refining existing programs, and ensuring utilization of programs.
Conducting audits, record retention, and development of environmental and safety policies/procedures.
Conducting training sessions on Environmental and Safety topics (to include but not limited to Title V, Personal Protective Equipment, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, Lockout/Tagout, etc…)
Participation in Value Stream Safety Teams (safety lead for specific departments), including ergonomic assessments, inspections, and acting as a consultant for the team.
Assisting the EH&S Manager with regulatory reports, incident investigations, proactive safety measures, and site safety plan development.
Assisting in the resolution of safety concerns with Value Stream safety teams.
