About The Position

As an experienced Project Manager in our Health & Safety practice group you will play a crucial role on our Environmental, Health & Safety consulting team, contributing to the success of our projects and helping us deliver outstanding results to our clients.

  • BS degree or higher in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health/Safety, Safety or Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of direct safety compliance and/or industrial hygiene experience.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of OSHA regulations and guidance as they apply to industrial, energy, and commercial clients.
  • Detail-oriented, motivated, analytical thinker, problem solver with a driven work ethic.
  • Excellent technical writing, public speaking, communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO), Safety, Health, & Environmental Professional (SHEP) or Specialist in Safety & Health (SSH) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetings
  • Leadership of a technical or project-related team
  • Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects
  • Manage projects (scope, schedule, budget)
  • Mentor junior level staff
  • Understand and work in compliance with corporate health and safety policies
  • Perform or assist in technical and field work on safety and industrial hygiene-related projects, including but not limited to: Safety program development and review Machine guarding assessments Energy control procedure development Process safety management (PSM) and risk management planning program (RMP) development and program auditing, and process hazard analysis (PHA).
  • Developing and conducting safety training to include Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, fall protection, hazardous waste and emergency response (HAZWOPER), Facility auditing and inspections, regulatory and third-party (ISO, ANSI, etc.) standards
  • Employee exposure assessments
  • Noise dosimetry and sounds pressure level surveys
  • Industrial hygiene exposure assessments for a variety of industries including aerospace, manufacturing, and oil & gas.
  • Indoor air quality assessments (mold, VOCs, CO, CO2, etc.)
  • Ventilation studies
  • Various assessments including PPE, LOTO, confined spaces, heat stress, cold stress, etc.
  • Preparation of reports and other work-related documents.
