About The Position

As an experienced Project Manager in our Health & Safety practice group you will play a crucial role on our Environmental, Health & Safety consulting team, contributing to the success of our projects and helping us deliver outstanding results to our clients.

• BS degree or higher in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health/Safety, Safety or Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of OSHA regulations and guidance as they apply to industrial, energy, and commercial clients.
• Detail-oriented, motivated, analytical thinker, problem solver with a driven work ethic.
• Excellent technical writing, public speaking, communication and critical thinking skills.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

Nice To Haves

• Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO), Safety, Health, & Environmental Professional (SHEP) or Specialist in Safety & Health (SSH) preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships and support business development activities.
• Prepare scopes, proposals, cost estimates, and schedules for moderate to complex projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, subcontractors, laboratory coordination, and client communications.
• Lead technical projects from planning and field execution through reporting and closeout
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance and review.
• Perform and manage industrial hygiene assessments, including: Employee exposure monitoring and personal/area air sampling, Noise dosimetry and sound pressure level surveys, Indoor air quality and mold assessments, Industrial ventilation evaluations, Heat/cold stress, PPE, and respiratory protection assessments.
• Lead process safety projects, including: PSM and RMP program development and compliance audits, Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), including HAZOP, What-If, and Checklist methodologies, Evaluation of PSM/RMP program elements and development and tracking of corrective actions and recommendations.
• Develop and deliver occupational health, safety, and process safety training.
• Evaluate findings against applicable OSHA, EPA, and recognized industry standards and develop practical recommendations.
• Prepare and review technical reports, sampling plans, audit reports, and other project documentation.
