As a EHS Manager, you’ll be part of our T&O Global Supply Chain team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to develop health and safety programs to meet requirements of corporate and regulatory agencies. You will provide training for all current and new employees to ensure their safety and the compliance with corporate/government safety requirements. You will identify and appraise conditions which could produce accidents and financial losses and evaluate potential injuries resulting from accidents. You will administer incident investigations program so all incidents are reported, investigated and prompt corrective action is taken and substantiated. You will assist the Leadership Team with the development of new products, processes and procedures to ensure the health and safety of all is given the highest priority. You will develop appropriate safety metrics to identify trends and recommend corrective actions. You will communicate activities of department to company and corporate management regularly and accurately. You will coordinate activities of all employees to ensure implementation of safety policies/procedures throughout the organization. You will compile, and interpret statistical data related to exposure factors. You will manage workers compensation activities, including maintaining OSHA log, submitting required reports, managing cases and appropriation of funds. You will coordinate a “mentor” program for new hires. You will develop departmental budget and manage department expenses.
