About The Position

The Environmental Health & Safety Leadership Program (EHSLP) is designed to prepare candidates for EHS roles within our North American manufacturing facilities. It provides early exposure to leadership training, accelerating their careers with various post-program paths, including EHS Leadership roles. Participants complete the entire program at an Owens Corning manufacturing plant. This 24-month structured development offers mentorship from experienced EHS leaders, specialists, and engineers, providing experiential and formal training in management systems understanding & implementation, procedure & policy development and implementation, training & development and delivery, regulatory process, project management, people leadership influence, and manufacturing process knowledge. Upon completion, participants will be placed in a full-time assignment as a EHS Leader or Specialist at a North American Owens Corning manufacturing plant.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety management, Chemical engineering or an equivalent field
Previous relevant internships/co-ops in a manufacturing setting
