  • Drive safety culture initiatives using leading indicators (near-miss reporting, audits, pre-task planning quality); facilitate talks and field huddles that encourage participation, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT) through routine field verification and documentation.
  • Conduct and coordinate inspections, audits, and incident investigations; ensure timely corrective and preventive actions are implemented and verified.

  • Track and analyze leading and lagging indicators (observations, near-miss reporting, audit results, TRIR); communicate trends, recognize positive behaviors, and drive local action plans to reduce risk.
  • Promote a reporting culture by encouraging timely reporting of hazards and near misses, closing the loop on submitted concerns, and ensuring employees see actions taken and improvements made.
  • Support initiatives that reduce Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) and other key indicators through targeted coaching, audits, and follow-through.
  • Deliver and coordinate EHS training for field employees and supervisors, including onboarding and refresher training; reinforce expectations through toolbox talks, behavior-based observations, and field coaching.
