About The Position

This position will lead and facilitate the execution of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management systems necessary to ensure the Company's objectives are met and are compliant with all corporate, federal, state, and local environmental, safety, and industrial health requirements.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years related experience required
  • Manufacturing experience required
  • Keen knowledge of EHS regulatory compliance requirements
  • Strong general computer skills including proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead and drive issue resolution to accomplish objectives/goals

Responsibilities

  • Partner with management and employees to execute and promote environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory DEQ, EPA, OSHA, DOT regulations, maintaining accurate records and preparing all required regulatory reports.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Facilitate investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with RCRA, state and local regulations.
  • Prepare and deliver EHS-related trainings and presentations.
  • Schedule and Coordinate 3rd party services such as 1st-Aid/CPR training, audiometric testing, etc.
  • Coordinate and Chair the Plant Safety Committee.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts and responses related to safety and environmental issues.
  • Conduct JSAs.
  • Conduct EHS-related data analysis and report established metrics to management.
