About The Position
The Boeing Company is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist (Mid-Level) to join our Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) organization in Fort Greely, AK. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
- 3+ years of experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and performing audits
- 1+ years of project management experience
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience with ordinance, and government contracts
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals
Responsibilities
- Develops, implements and monitors occupational health and safety programs and processes
- Develops and provides training and instructions
- Evaluates the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations
- Develops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections
- Plans and conducts health and safety audits
