About The Position
Vitro Meadville is looking for an EHS Specialist to play a key role in the growth of the EHS culture, results, and improvement at the Meadville site. The incumbent will work closely with plant personnel and the Vitro EHS Manager, and is responsible for the development, implementation, and sustainability of EHS management systems and processes to prevent incidents, injuries, and illnesses, and to assure compliance with regulatory and Vitro EHS Requirements.
Requirements
- 3-5 years manufacturing and safety leadership
- Specific technical knowledge in aspects of safety, industrial hygiene, OSHA, and/or environmental standard
- Knowledge of Site Policies and Procedures
- Knowledge of Worker's Compensation Regulations
- Experience in behavior based safety
- Experience in team involvement
- Experience in industrial hygiene
- Experience in process safety
- Experience in training
Responsibilities
