About The Position

Provide oversight of the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs for the Specialized Reliability Solutions business segment. Monitor and maintain activities that ensure a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations. Promote employee awareness, reduce workplace risks, and drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, facilitation, training, mentoring, and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of EHS regulations, policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
  • Experience with life safety codes, HAZOP, industrial hygiene, and occupational health and safety principles.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS-related software.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, make sound decisions, and communicate effectively.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
  • Strong follow-through and accountability with a commitment to achieving results.
  • High ethical standards and a collaborative, continuous improvement mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Advanced EHS certification (CSP, CIH, CHMM, QEP, CEA, REM, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Engage employees to understand and follow environmental, health, safety, and security policies and programs.
  • Anticipate, identify, evaluate, and reduce workplace hazards through effective risk assessment.
  • Ensure all required OSHA, DOT, and HAZWOPER training is completed and documented.
  • Track EHS KPIs and implement recommendations to address key safety and environmental priorities.
  • Partner with work teams to complete incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Audit and implement programs to support regulatory compliance, including OSHA, EPA, permitting, chemical storage, noise monitoring, air quality, and wastewater discharge.
  • Support chemical and hazardous materials management programs, including Process Safety Management (PSM).
  • Conduct facility and production area inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and fire code requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance team to ensure required sprinkler and fire alarm inspections are completed.
  • Maintain plant PPE and fire protection equipment.
  • Provide emergency response support as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
