Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager We’re looking for a hands‑on EHS Manager to lead safety and environmental performance at a manufacturing site and drive a strong, proactive safety culture. This is a visible, influential role with the ability to shape programs, partner closely with operations, and make a meaningful impact on how safety and sustainability show up every day on the floor. You’ll report to senior EHS leadership and work directly with site leaders and employees to improve safety outcomes, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement. Why This Role Own and lead site EHS strategy—not just maintain programs Partner directly with operations and leadership to influence real change Balance hands‑on site presence with strategic improvement work Play a key role in environmental and sustainability initiatives Be part of a company committed to safety, reliability, and long‑term impact What You’ll Do (In a Nutshell) Lead all Environmental, Health, and Safety activities for the site Drive injury prevention, risk reduction, and continuous improvement Ensure OSHA, EPA, and site regulatory compliance; lead audits and inspections Investigate incidents and ensure strong corrective and preventive actions Partner with leaders to embed safety into daily operations Lead environmental programs focused on waste, water, and emissions reduction Oversee EHS training, contractor safety, and emergency response readiness What We’re Looking For 3+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations Experience leading site‑level EHS programs and incident investigations Ability to influence leaders and engage frontline teams Strong communicator who can be both practical and strategic Nice to Have (Not Required): Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental, engineering, or related field Experience with ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 or similar systems Professional safety certification (CSP, CIH, OHST, NEBOSH, OSHA 30) Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
