About The Position

Join our Southeast Environmental business as an Environmental Field Technician in Calvert City, KY. You will support a variety of remediation and O&M projects throughout the region. Your daily tasks will include operating pump pulling units, pump installation and troubleshooting, operating small backhoes and forklifts, welding and torch operation, jobsite housekeeping, performing groundwater monitoring and remediation system operation and maintenance tasks, performing soil & groundwater sampling, and supporting clients during emergency response and remediation projects. This role offers a variety of work within an energetic and high-performing team.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED required
Ability and willingness to perform field work 100% of the time
Ability and willingness to travel, including some overnights, as needed
Valid driver’s license
OSHA 40hr HAZWOPER training a plus

Nice To Haves

Up to 3 years of environmental experience preferred
CDL Class A preferred (or must be able to obtain CDL)

Find the most effective ways to respond to routine functional inquiries, following procedures and precedents.
Follow the organization's health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate risks and to safeguard the environment and the well-being of self and others.
Develop and maintain excellent process or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
Develop testing standards and procedures under the direction of professional colleagues.
Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.
Perform basic tasks in technical troubleshooting, such as identifying evident technical issues with equipment and experiments and assisting in basic diagnostic actions.
