About The Position

ERM is hiring an Environmental Field Technician to support environmental monitoring surveys in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Canada. This is a part time (12 hours per day in shifts), limited-term role with a duration of 8 months, extendable. Training will be provided for client-specific and site-specific safety, security, sampling and inspection procedures.

Requirements

Ability to walk long distances and carry heavy field equipment.
Ability to work in remote locations in varied weather conditions and on varied terrain.
Effective observational and organization skills; experience documenting detailed technical data an asset.
Adaptability and flexibility.
Effective communication skills.
A valid driver’s license and a good driving record is preferred.
Ability to meet ERM and client site access requirements, including training, drug and alcohol testing and criminal background check.
