About The Position

ERM is hiring an Environmental Field Technician to support environmental monitoring surveys in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Canada. This is a part time (12 hours per day in shifts), limited-term role with a duration of 8 months, extendable. Training will be provided for client-specific and site-specific safety, security, sampling and inspection procedures.

Requirements

  • Ability to walk long distances and carry heavy field equipment.
  • Ability to work in remote locations in varied weather conditions and on varied terrain.
  • Effective observational and organization skills; experience documenting detailed technical data an asset.
  • Adaptability and flexibility.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and a good driving record is preferred.
  • Ability to meet ERM and client site access requirements, including training, drug and alcohol testing and criminal background check.
