Requirements

  • One to Four years stack testing experience conducting EPA methods 1 through 5 (Willing to train the right candidate!)
  • Must be able to comfortably work at heights (with proper training and safety protocols)
  • Must have the ability to travel
  • Must possess valid driver's license and driving record free of major violations over past five years (e.g. ability to be insured for company-vehicle and tow trailer)
  • Self-starter, quick learner, and possess effective communication skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to operate high-lifts, climb scaffolding and lift 50 - 70 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • CEMS experience is helpful, but not required
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology or Environmental Science helpful, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct stack emissions testing activities (bag houses, furnace stacks, industrial flares, etc.)
  • Calibrate equipment
  • Maintain the mobile lab trailer from job site to job site
  • Operate and troubleshoot complex electronic and stack gas conveyance systems
  • Ensure that appropriate health and safety procedures are being followed
  • Conduct shop duties, as necessary
  • Engage different manufacturing and commercial job sites with varying stack configurations
