About The Position

Cameron-Cole, an ADEC Innovation, is seeking an Environmental Project Manager (Engineer, Scientist, or Geologist) (CG06–07) to join their team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong project management ownership combined with hands-on experience in environmental site investigations, sampling, and regulatory compliance. This role will perform and oversee environmental field sampling activities, including the collection of surface and subsurface soil samples, ensuring sampling plans are accurately executed in accordance with Cameron-Cole guidelines and procedures. Responsibilities also include data analysis, development of presentations, preparation of environmental reports and/or designs, and supervision of junior staff during field activities. This position reports to the Principal Geologist and is a full-time, exempt position from their Pensacola office. This role is an evergreen position, meaning they are always looking for talented individuals to join their team. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of experience in environmental assessment, site investigations, or remediation
  • Hands‑on experience with: Soil and groundwater sampling, Monitoring well installation oversight, Subsurface investigations, Environmental sample collection, and field documentation
  • HAZWOPER certification and valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

  • Phase I and Phase II ESA experience preferred
  • Familiarity with remediation technologies, site characterization, and regulatory compliance a plus

Responsibilities

  • Managing assigned projects, including budget tracking, invoice approval, and team management.
  • Supervising the collection of samples for analysis while accurately following identified field sampling plans and Cameron-Cole guidelines and procedures.
  • Reviewing lab analytical reports for accuracy and adherence to QA/QC regulations.
  • Designing and performing site investigations compliant with federal and state regulations.
  • Prepares environmental reports and presentations, including tables, charts, and graphs.
  • Participating in the proposal and budget creation process.
  • Supervises junior staff during field activities and project execution.
