About The Position

Tradebe is seeking an Environmental Field Chemist for a hands-on, field-based role in the environmental services industry. The position provides expert lab packing services, including safe identification, packaging, labeling, and disposal preparation for hazardous materials. Work takes place in a compliance-focused, safety-first environment and supports environmental protection and the communities Tradebe serves. The role may suit entry-level or experienced candidates. A $3,000 retention bonus is offered.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field; equivalent work-related experience will be considered.
• Basic understanding of hazardous waste regulations or interest in learning them.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a Class B CDL with hazmat endorsement within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a physical exam, drug screen, and background check.
• Willingness and ability to travel and wear a full-face respirator.

Nice To Haves

• Previous lab packing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Classify, identify, package, and label hazardous waste for safe transportation and disposal.
• Process required documentation to meet environmental regulations and internal procedures.
• Unpack hazardous materials at plant locations when needed.
• Sample and analyze container contents.
• Use internal software systems to research, record, and manage data.
• Drive a 26-foot box truck after obtaining a Class B CDL.
• For advanced chemists, remotely open and stabilize high-hazard chemicals.
• Follow regulatory, safety, and company policies to support a compliant, environmentally responsible workplace.
