The position requires data collection and documentation for remediation sites, including equipment preparation, sampling, surveying, logging soil borings, installing groundwater monitoring wells, and preparing samples for laboratory pickup. The role also involves participating in fieldwork, potentially with out-of-town travel and overnight stays, developing reports and documents, and adhering to company safety standards. Travel is a significant component, often requiring multiple days per week with overnight stays in southeast Michigan, with expenses covered by BLDI.
