About The Position

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Environmental Engineer to join its team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, supporting environmental investigation, remediation, and site redevelopment projects. The role provides an opportunity to apply engineering fundamentals to environmental challenges and learn from experienced engineers, scientists, and geologists in a collaborative consulting environment. The position is expected to begin ASAP. The engineer will support the planning and implementation of environmental field programs, evaluate site investigation data, and assist in developing and implementing remediation solutions. Fieldwork may include environmental sampling, groundwater monitoring, remediation system inspections, operating-data collection, and oversight of subcontractors conducting drilling, excavation, and other field activities. Office work includes engineering calculations, data analysis, technical report preparation, and support for remediation design and project documentation. The position is based in Milwaukee and follows a hybrid schedule with scheduled in-office work. Fieldwork and travel to project sites are required, potentially involving regional assignments, occasional overnight stays, varying weather, and varied physical and environmental site conditions. Relocation assistance is not available. Newly hired employees must attend in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office. U.S. citizenship is required, as is passing a Motor Vehicle Records review; the selected candidate must also complete medical surveillance screening upon hire.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required for visits to project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
  • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review as a condition of employment.
  • Must submit to medical surveillance screening upon hire.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
