About The Position
Domtar is seeking an entry-level Environmental Engineer for its Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania location. The position supports environmental compliance preparation and reporting related to air, water, and waste at the Johnsonburg Mill and the north and south chip plants. The role reports directly to the EHS Manager and is full-time and permanent.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to communicate cross-functionally within the organization.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
- Improvement-minded work mentality.
Nice To Haves
- Environmental work experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Continuously improve the environmental management system and processes.
- Complete regulatory reporting, including internal metrics, tracking, and record retention.
- Sustain air, water, and waste regulatory compliance.
- Conduct field testing and sampling, along with daily management system checks within the workplace.
