About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Environmental Engineer to join their world-class EHS team in Berkeley, MO. This role involves knowledge and expertise in stormwater, regulatory reporting, and field sampling. The engineer will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of environmental management systems, processes, and programs, and will work with site stakeholders to assess the impact of emerging stormwater issues on company operations. A key part of the role includes supporting the site's interface with state and federal regulatory agencies and environmental reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience in Environmental Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience interacting directly with state and federal regulatory agencies
  • 3+ years of experience with environmental compliance, spill response, and water quality
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Stormwater Permit/ Management experience required
  • Bachelor degree from an accredited course of study, in environmental engineering, environmental science, environmental management, biology or chemistry.
  • Experience with environmental compliance or regulations
