About The Position

The Antenna/Microwave and E3 Department provide innovative and affordable solutions to our customers in all business areas. We are responsible for designing phased array antenna systems including active and passive microwave components, radiators, radomes and a variety of RF subassemblies. We develop new technologies for advanced capabilities and provide support to all life-cycle phases of the best radar systems in active worldwide deployments and grow our people with exciting new challenges, on-the-job training, mentoring and purposeful rotations. The EMI Effects Engineer is responsible for EMI/EMC electromagnetic interference/electromagnetic compatibility. Specific areas of expertise will include related school or project work. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree
  • Minimum of 1 years’ prior relevant experience
  • EMI/EMC analysis design and test
  • Experience with MATLAB, ANSYS / HFSS or CST Microwave
  • Completed courses in Electromagnetic and/or Antennas
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in chosen Engineering/Technical field
  • Currently hold a DoD issued security clearance of Secret or higher
  • Ability to provide detailed documentation related to EMI test plans and EMI procedures and as well as test reports with minimal revision and review
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong customer focus with good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical conscience, challenged with making sure the product and process meet appropriate E3 standards
  • Ensure balance with risk conditions and constraints while advising leadership.
  • Visible and accountable for technical decisions.
  • Technical contact with the customer inclusive of requirements, technical commitments, IRAD, future technical needs, etc.
  • Ability to work across disciplines as our specialty requires interaction with Mechanical and Systems Engineering as well as Electrical Engineering
