About The Position

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin’s Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of designing, building, testing, and flying Environmental Control and Life Support (ECLS) flight hardware. The ECLS System is composed of the essential hardware to allow humans to safely inhabit space. The ECLS system circulates air around the vehicle, picking up carbon dioxide, humidity, and trace contaminants for scrubbing, and provides oxygen for breathing. The internal cabin pressure is maintained and monitored. Clean drinking water is provided to the crew. The ECLS system also monitors for emergencies such as rapid depressurization and fire and counteracts them.
