About The Position
HB NEXT is seeking an Environmental Consultant / SWPPP Inspector for the Panhandle, FL area. This is an Independent Contractor (1099) position. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy outdoor work, value flexibility, and are motivated to make an impact. The position involves supporting environmental compliance on active construction sites through self-motivation, customer focus, and relationship building. The consultant will join a team of dedicated professionals committed to ethical practices and mutual support.
Requirements
- FSESCI (Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Inspector) certification or the ability to obtain within 60 days (training can be provided by HB NEXT).
- Previous construction field experience highly desired.
- Reliable transportation.
- Self-starter.
Responsibilities
- Conducting SWPPP (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan) inspections.
- Ensuring environmental compliance on construction sites.
- Building relationships with clients and site personnel.
- Providing hands-on experience in environmental compliance.
