About The Position

This role is for an Experienced Environmental Consultant to join the Site Assessment and Remediation team. The consultant will be involved in technically challenging and meaningful projects that make a lasting impact on communities, clients, and the environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Hydrogeology, or a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of experience in environmental consulting with a focus on site assessment and remediation.
  • Experience managing environmental investigation and remediation projects.
  • Strong technical foundation with a passion for technical excellence and quality delivery.
  • Working knowledge of federal and/or Ontario environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical reporting skills.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to participate in local fieldwork activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Eligibility for professional designation (P.Eng., P.Geo.) and Qualified Person (QP) status is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage environmental site assessments, remediation programs, and excess soil management projects.
  • Develop proposals, work plans, conceptual site models, and technical solutions for complex environmental challenges.
  • Coordinate field investigations, subcontractors, and project logistics to ensure successful projects.
  • Review and interpret environmental data, laboratory results, and historical site information to support sound technical decisions.
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports and support regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Mentor and support junior team members in both office and field environments.
  • Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development opportunities.
  • Champion a strong health and safety culture across all project activities.
