The Environmental Chamber Technician is part of a small technical group supporting all aspects of environmental chamber production and test. This position verifies environmental chamber products built by Riverside Integrated Solutions to meet stringent customer requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience in troubleshooting problems with mechanical and electromechanical systems.
Good communication and presentation skills
Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

Two-year degree in an engineering field or equivalent preferred
Refrigeration experience preferred

Responsibilities

Creating new or modify existing manufacturing instructions for testing environmental chambers
Visually inspecting environmental chambers for compliance to specifications including wiring and refrigeration circuitry
Setting up test processes for new product
Testing production chambers for compliance to specifications
Troubleshooting nonconforming products that fail test
Recording test performance for all chambers as tests are completed
Participating in lean activities involving appropriate products as determined by the assigned manufacturing engineer
Interfacing with Process Engineering on delivery of actions required for NPI’s and MCO’s
