About The Position

A highly respected national law firm is seeking an Environmental Associate Attorney to join its Minneapolis office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in handling sophisticated environmental regulatory, litigation, and transactional matters across a broad range of industries.

Requirements

3+ years of environmental law experience
Experience handling a broad range of environmental regulatory, litigation, and transactional matters
Experience advising clients regarding the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), CERCLA, and related environmental regulations
Experience representing clients in environmental compliance, permitting, enforcement, remediation, and related matters
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a sophisticated, fast-paced practice environment
Excellent academic credentials
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
Minnesota bar admission required or ability to become admitted without examination

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting environmental due diligence and transactional matters is preferred
Background in science, engineering, environmental studies, or a related technical field is a plus
An LL.M. in Environmental Law or other specialized environmental training is preferred

Responsibilities
