Join Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro as an Environmental Assistant and help create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and caregivers. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our facilities through cleaning, waste disposal, supply management, and attention to detail. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• No experience required
• Strong dependability, problem-solving, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize work and use time effectively
• Commitment to safety, quality, and excellent customer service
• Ability to work collaboratively in a health care environment

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of healthcare Environmental Services experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning and waste disposal services to help keep facilities well maintained
• Clean patient rooms, stock PPE baskets, and support indirect patient care
• Order, stock, and rotate cleaning supplies as needed
• Report maintenance, housekeeping, and painting concerns to Environmental Services leadership
• Follow safety guidelines related to body mechanics, hazardous materials, and personal protective equipment
