Environmental, Operations and Construction (EOC) operates within HDR’s Federal Business Group, capable of delivering services across all HDR business groups at any location. Our work is performed by our professional staff, scientists and engineers at remote sites, embedded in client office space or our own facilities. EOC delivers quality engineering, environmental, and construction management services at competitive prices. We are seeking an Environmental Area Operations Manager to help continue to drive our successful global Environmental Conservation and Compliance and Environmental Restoration businesses for our Federal clients. In this role you will partner with our senior Business Group and Operations leadership teams to plan what is possible, navigate the successful operation and growth of our Planning (NEPA), Marine Sciences, and Environmental Compliance practices and our Environmental Remediation and Geophysics practices, and meet company goals and objectives. You will be at the helm of a powerful team that is focusing daily on the delivery of infrastructure, environmental, planning and consulting services. This position will oversee over 75 global professional staff in our own facilities, at remote sites, or embedded in client offices. You are a strategic thinker, a curious problem solver, connector, and organizer. You understand the infrastructure, compliance and funding challenges facing our Federal client leaders who are creating the vision for the future of the built environment to meet their global critical mission and environmental stewardship requirements.
