About The Position

Capio Group is seeking an experienced Environment and Test Data Management Lead to provide quality assurance and quality control services for enterprise applications. The role supports end-to-end test planning, execution, automation, performance engineering, environment and test data coordination, and defect management. Work is conducted under client direction using approved tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, ALM, UFT, and LoadRunner Enterprise. Automation may use UFT (VBScript), Selenium, and/or Katalon integrated with CI/CD. The Lead provides test-cycle summary reports, coverage dashboards, and defect metrics, including density, leakage, and aging. The role coordinates, provisions, and manages non-production testing environments and the test data needed across the software development lifecycle. Duties include environment configuration and provisioning, availability monitoring, scheduling and conflict resolution, cross-system integration validation, incident management and recovery, test data creation and provisioning, masking and anonymization, data refresh and synchronization, synthetic data generation, privacy and security compliance, and support for data-driven testing. The Lead works with infrastructure and development teams to maintain environments, coordinate configuration changes and deployments, manage access and security controls, resolve environment issues, and document configurations and dependencies. They identify test data needs for functional, integration, automation, and performance testing; create and maintain datasets; validate masking to prevent exposure of personally identifiable information; coordinate refresh cycles; and ensure compliance with client policies. For UAT, the Lead defines data requirements, provisions and masks datasets, seeds or refreshes data to align with UAT windows, prepares a data-readiness checklist, and obtains business sign-off before UAT begins. Capio Group is a California-based information technology consulting firm serving the public sector since 2010. The company describes itself as a small, rapidly growing firm offering a flexible workplace and work-life balance.
