About The Position
Volt is immediately hiring an EHS Engineer in Fairfield, OH! As an EHS Engineer, you will provide on-the-floor support at a manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with EHS policies through routine audits, safety observations, and employee engagement initiatives. The role also supports incident investigations and follows up on corrective actions to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
Requirements
- OSHA regulations and compliance requirements, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine safety, and risk assessment/hazard identification methodologies.
- Fall protection, dock safety, and safe interaction between pedestrians and powered industrial vehicles.
- Emergency response, incident investigation, corrective actions, and employee safety engagement initiatives.
