About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Entry Procurement Agent (Level 1) for our Seattle, WA facility. The Entry Procurement Agent will assist with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply. Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements. Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Detail-oriented
Ability to travel 10% of the time – domestic or international
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
2+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes.
2+ years of experience in Data Analysis.
Experience negotiating pricing and contract terms and conditions
Communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role.
Experience with Supplier Management

Responsibilities

Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
