Entry Level Technician - Mercedes Benz Creve Coeur

Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience as a technician's helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership or independent shop; or comparable automotive trade school experience
- Must have a valid and clean driver's license with 2 or fewer moving violations in the last 3 years and also NO major violations (DUI, Careless Driving, etc.) in the last 3 years
- Candidates under 21 years of age only allowed 1 moving violation/no major violations in the last 3 years
- Must be able to work in a faced paced environment
- Possess good customer relations skills
- Must be able to work weekends
Responsibilities
- Injects grease into units, such as springs, universal joints, and steering knuckles, using hand or compressed-air powered grease gun
- Inspects fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings and shackles
- Checks air pressure of tires
- Lubricates moving parts with specific lubricants
- Drains oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil
- Replace oil and air filters
- Inspects all vehicles for additional repairs needed
- Perform light maintenance and repairs to vehicles including lube, oil, and filter changes, balancing and rotation of tires, and flushing cooling system.
- Work both independently and within a team environment to ensure highest level of service and customer satisfaction.
