About The Position

The Entry Level Install Technician will be responsible for installation functions on semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom environment. This position requires an individual to be open to multiple working shift opportunities, including days and nights. The role involves assisting experienced technicians with tool installation, working with chemicals (with proper training provided), and completing preventive maintenance setups and quality checks on semiconductor wafers and equipment components. Teamwork is essential, as the technician will engage with other team members and subcontractors to complete activities. Maintenance tasks will be performed at various designated locations within the Fab and sub-fab. The technician must stay updated on all processes and procedures by reviewing documentation like Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and be prepared to handle both scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance activities. Computer use is required for training and maintaining maintenance logs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to pass required 10-panel drug screening and background check
  • Experience with basic hand tools in a professional or personal setting
  • Local candidates only

Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced technicians with tool install activities
  • Complete preventive maintenance set ups and quality checks on semiconductor wafers and equipment components
  • Assist with parts receiving, staging and inspection
  • Engage as a team member to complete activities with other team members and subcontractors
  • Performs maintenance at any designated location in the Fab, or sub-fab across the work site
  • Consistently ensure that you are up to date on all processes and procedures by reviewing documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Remain dynamic, and prepared to complete both scheduled and unscheduled or sporadic preventative maintenance activities as needed
  • Use of computers for training and to maintain required maintenance logs
