About The Position
At Lemieux & Associates, we believe the mission doesn't end when service does - it evolves. We're proud to introduce "GIs to PIs", an initiative connecting military veterans, service leaders, and recently separated professionals with meaningful careers in investigations. This job mirrors many skills from military service, such as situational awareness & observation, working independently in the field, following protocols and documenting activity, maintaining focus during long operations, and protecting sensitive information. If you've worked patrol, security, intelligence, or field operations, this will feel familiar. This role involves long periods of observation, quiet, low-activity assignments, and independent work. Success comes from patience, consistency, and attention to detail-not constant action.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Comfortable sitting for extended periods
- Willingness to work some evenings/weekends
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Background check required
Nice To Haves
- No prior investigation experience required
Responsibilities
- Conduct surveillance from your vehicle
- Observe and document subject activity
- Capture video evidence using provided equipment
- Write clear, fact-based reports
- Operate independently while staying connected to your team
