About The Position

Securitas USA is seeking Entry-Level Security Officers to join their team. In this role, you will observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. This is a full-time or part-time position with multiple openings, including weekend shifts. Securitas USA is the most locally focused Protective Services company in the United States, with over 640 local branch managers and approximately 86,000 security officers. Our core business is security services, with main service offering categories including specialized guarding, mobile guarding, remote guarding, and corporate risk management. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid OH Driver License (for some positions).
Strong customer service skills.
Strong technology skills (cell phone/computer).
Excellent communication skills.
Maintain a professional demeanor.
Professional appearance: Visible body piercing accessories and extreme facial hair or visible tattoos are not permitted, unless authorized.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.

Nice To Haves

Prior security and/or customer service experience.
CPR, First Aid/AED, and BLS certification (training provided if not certified).

Responsibilities

Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
Complete patrols.
Meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
