Make a difference in YOUR life and become a part of the Hoover Family! We're seeking an Entry-Level Seasonal Maintenance Technician to support daily operations from May through August. In this role, you'll assist with routine equipment maintenance, basic facility repairs, and provide support to senior maintenance technicians. No advanced mechanical or electrical certifications are required-just a strong work ethic, reliability, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work comfortably in an industrial environment.

Requirements

  • Basic mechanical aptitude or experience using hand tools
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn equipment procedures
  • Comfortable working around machinery, noise, and fast‑paced production areas
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to take direction
  • Able to lift up to 70 lbs
  • Stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders throughout the shift

Responsibilities

  • Clean machinery surfaces, check fluid levels, replace simple parts, and report unusual noises or issues
  • Tighten bolts, patch small wall damage, replace light bulbs, fix minor leaks, and handle simple repair tasks
  • Assist technicians with scheduled inspections, lubrication, filter changes, and equipment checks
  • Move materials, organize tools, maintain clean work areas, and help prepare equipment for operation
  • Follow plant safety rules, wear PPE, and immediately report hazards or equipment concerns
  • Carry tools, prep work areas, and help with larger mechanical or electrical repairs
