About The Position

UES is seeking a motivated, organized, and personable part-time entry-level recruiter to join its recruiting team. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in recruiting, interviewing, and talent acquisition. The recruiter connects with candidates, schedules interviews through the applicant tracking system (ATS), and conducts brief preliminary phone interviews using a provided 15-minute script. No previous recruiting experience is required; training, tools, and a structured process are provided.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort speaking with candidates over the phone.
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Able to follow a structured interview script and manage scheduling responsibilities.
• Comfortable learning and using computer systems and scheduling tools.

• Previous recruiting or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Review candidate information and coordinate interview scheduling through the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Contact candidates to confirm appointments and maintain consistent follow-up.
• Conduct 15-minute preliminary phone interviews using a provided script.
• Ask candidates questions to assess their interest, communication skills, and general fit for the opportunity.
• Update candidate information and interview notes in the ATS.
• Track interview attendance, follow up with candidates who miss appointments, and help maintain an organized recruiting pipeline.
• Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the preliminary interview process.
