About The Position

AEI Consultants is currently seeking an energetic and professional Project Manager/Environmental Technician to join our expanding Industrial Hygiene team. The Project Manager/Environmental Technician performs field investigations or testing services as assigned, including Asbestos, Mold, Lead-based paint, and indoor air quality testing.

Requirements

Approximately 0-3 years of experience and knowledge in the performance of various environmental consulting projects including ACM/LBP/mold sampling techniques
Ability to take direction and perform duties and tasks assigned by Project Managers or other senior level staff
Demonstrate excellent technical writing skills
Superior time management, communication, and organizational skills
Able to manage multiple projects at once under strict deadlines with guidance from senior staff
Communicate clearly, concisely, and frequently with senior management and sales team
Able to handle technical questions and guide clients through difficult projects
Able to review technical reports from other in-house and subcontracted professionals
Willingness to travel
Must be a self-starter and resourceful

Nice To Haves

Asbestos inspector, Mold Assessor Training/Licensure, OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER preferred
Asbestos, Lead-Based Paint, Mold licensure preferred

Responsibilities

Performs various environmental consulting projects including ACM, LBP, mold sampling techniques, and indoor air quality testing
Maintains, operates, and calibrates a variety of sampling and monitoring equipment
Prepares accurate and complete technical reports of survey findings
Acquires and maintains environmental certifications and training to maintain compliance as needed
