About The Position

Weyerhaeuser Lumber mill in Raymond, WA is hiring for Entry Level Production Associates. We offer a competitive pay and benefit package, including comprehensive health & welfare (medical, dental, vision), 401(k), paid vacation and holidays. The hourly starting wage is $26.180. This is a bargaining unit position in the IAM AW Union. Successful applicants will train for a variety of positions, including cleanup and equipment operation. This position is designated by WY as a safety-sensitive position. Please be advised that due to the designation of this position as safety-sensitive, you will be subject to pre-employment testing for cannabis and its metabolites.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness and ability to work all shifts and wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Stable, documented work history.
• Willingness and ability to learn new jobs and skills.
• Demonstrated dedication to safety.
• Positive attitude and good work ethic.
• Ability to do demanding work (lift up to 50 pounds).
• Resume detailing education and work history is required for consideration.

• Prior manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in the team-based work environment with a positive attitude, good communication skills, and respectable work ethic.
• Interpret work instructions and complete tasks as delegated.
• Utility labor such as picking up debris, sweeping, relieving production employees.
• Apply good housekeeping standards to your work area or any area you observe.
• Cross-train in production roles and be able to fill in when short-handed.
• Activities involving safety, quality, and process reliability improvements.
• Demonstrate a desire to achieve and take pride in your work.
• Able and willing to work in varying seasonal climate conditions.
• Operate and monitor various machine centers.
