About The Position
This is an entry-level Service Technician position providing pest control services in the Montgomery County area. No prior experience is required as all necessary training is provided and fully paid. Brody Brothers Pest Control is a family-owned and operated company established in 1984, known for its positive customer reviews and multiple service awards, including Angie's List super service winners. The company emphasizes internal career growth, offering advancement opportunities for entry-level technicians. The role includes a 4-6 week paid training program with daily sessions. A portion of this training, up to two weeks, takes place in Owings Mills with an in-house entomologist, requiring reliable transportation to Owings Mills, MD during that specific period.
Requirements
- Physical ability to complete tasks associated with the job
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail in identifying pest issues and entry points
- Ability to problem-solve and address pest pressures
- Technical proficiency with handheld/smartphones, computers, etc.
- Reliable transportation to Owings Mills, MD (required during initial training period)
Responsibilities
- Driving between customer locations in Montgomery County
- Performing preventive pest control services and sales stops
- Communicating with customers to understand and address pest problems
- Inspecting properties for pest entry points and performing exclusion work
- Placing monitoring stations and performing pesticide treatments

- Above-Average Pay: Starting at $21 an hour (up to $28 with previous experience)
