This role is for an entry-level paralegal on the Litigation team at MoFo, based in San Diego. It is ideal for recent graduates considering law school who want to gain real-world experience in high-stakes litigation. The role requires intellectual curiosity, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment of at least two years before pursuing law school or other endeavors. The paralegal will build foundational knowledge of litigation procedures, develop proficiency with legal technology and firm systems, and follow established procedures to deliver high-quality work. They will also learn to identify resources for efficiency, manage workflow, documents, and deadlines, and collaborate with attorneys and staff to resolve issues. Responsibilities include assisting in all phases of litigation, coordinating case documents and electronic discovery, supporting court filings and depositions, contributing to research and trial preparation, and assisting Senior Paralegals. Proactive client engagement and communication are also key. Research will be conducted using approved tools and platforms, and client-generated materials will be reviewed, analyzed, and summarized. An interest in product liability is a plus.
