About The Position
Lapeer Plating & Plastics, Inc. is seeking highly motivated, team-oriented individuals with a continuous improvement mindset to join our growing team as Entry-Level Manufacturing Team Members. No prior experience is necessary — we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed! This role contributes to the production of high-quality plastic and chrome-plated automotive components.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Physical capability to stand, move, and lift up to 60 lbs. for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to work.
- Strong work ethic and punctuality, especially during the 60-day probationary period.
- Commitment to adhere to safe work practices and procedures.
- Basic math skills for packing and inventory purposes.
Responsibilities
- Inspect components for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
- Trim excess plastic or chrome from components.
- Pack parts for shipment by packing them into boxes or containers.
- Load and unload components efficiently to maintain workflow.
- Handle components weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Perform any of the above tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility.
