About The Position
McCarthy Toyota - Sedalia is seeking to hire a full-time quick Automotive Lube Technician. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain or expand their technician experience in a busy, fast-paced repair shop, or for those interested in exploring the automotive industry. The Lube Technician will be responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance work as assigned and in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Automotive technician experience required
- Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform basic functions such as: oil changes, tire rotations, multi-point inspections, replace wiper blades, etc as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
- Communicate effectively with service team and assigned service advisor regarding the status and any changes to repair order
- Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required
- Establish a finished product which adheres to factory and dealership procedures
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
- Maintaining work area in a clean and orderly manner
