This is an entry-level position for a Low Voltage Technician where no advanced experience is required, as training will be provided. The role involves helping to connect hospitals, schools, and businesses while learning a skilled trade. The company is a growing low-voltage services company looking for individuals to join their team in Charleston. This is an opportunity to break into the tech or construction industry and build hands-on experience. The technician will work alongside experienced team members on large commercial projects, learning to install cabling, support Wi-Fi systems, and keep essential facilities running smoothly. The ideal candidate is reliable, eager to learn, and comfortable working with their hands.

Requirements

• 0–1 year of experience (construction, electrical, or tech exposure is helpful but not required)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Comfortable working on your feet and using basic tools
• Positive attitude and professionalism in customer environments

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of tools or cabling
• Interest in IT, networking, or construction trades

Responsibilities

• Assist with pulling and installing network cables (CAT5/CAT6, some fiber)
• Help mount and replace Wi‑Fi access points
• Learn basic cable termination (patch panels, jacks)
• Read simple blueprints and layouts (training provided)
• Support installation teams in active environments like schools and hospitals
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
• Work as part of a team to complete projects on schedule
