In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Control System Integration Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree
  • Interest in or basic experience working on multi-disciplinary engineering projects, especially those involving owners, contractors, vendors, and integrators
  • Fundamental understanding of process systems, instrumentation, device selection, networking concepts, and reading electrical or process diagrams (P&IDs, wiring diagrams, etc.)
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and execute multiple project responsibilities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and interact professionally with clients and vendors
  • Willingness to travel for project requirements, such as installation, start-up activities, meetings, trainings, and industry seminars

Nice To Haves

  • Internship, co-op, or academic project experience with PLC programming, automation, instrumentation, or process control (preferred)
  • Exposure to Rockwell Automation hardware and software, or similar industrial control platforms (preferred)
  • Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and process (MEP) systems through coursework, laboratory experience, or academic projects (preferred)
  • EIT certification (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design control systems for our clients in the food and beverage, consumer health, life science, or advanced technology sectors
  • Provide engineering solutions for control systems and PLC/SCADA interface systems that meet and exceed our clients’ requirements for safety and optimization
  • Conduct system and facility engineering job walk assessments
  • Develop and design engineering solutions for equipment optimization
  • Design systems that will monitor and control process variables (such as pressure, temperature, humidity, and flow) in a manufacturing environment
  • Conduct root cause failure analyses
  • Document process requirements for instrumentation equipment
  • Interface effectively with engineering design team members and client representatives
  • Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team
