About The Position

AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in Boston on October 21-22, 2026. This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2027. The event kicks off on Wednesday evening with a networking mixer, where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines. On Thursday, interviews will take place at our Boston office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities. AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Inspector to be based in Rocky Hill, CT.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
US Valid Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science Degree in a related field.
Willingness to work flexible schedules as needed for projects, including overnight work.
Previous roadway / transportation-related construction and/or inspection experience is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under immediate supervision.
Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.
Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.
Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
Tracks quality assurance progress.
Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.
