About The Position

The Gund Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern for a 6-month assignment. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience within a dynamic HR team and provides exposure to core HR functions, with a special focus on leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance foundational HR processes. Nice To Haves

  • Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Completion of sophomore-level HR coursework (typically second-year classes), preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest in technology, especially AI applications within business or HR contexts, is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR leadership to review and redesign existing company job descriptions.
  • Analyze current documentation and draft improved versions that clearly communicate role expectations and requirements.
  • Standard Work Documentation Update: Audit and update Standard Work documents associated with job roles, ensuring consistency, clarity, and accessibility.
  • Integrate AI tools to streamline the revision process and enhance overall document quality.
  • AI Integration: Research and recommend AI applications to improve HR document creation and maintenance. Experiment with generative AI and content analysis tools to drive project efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional meetings with hiring managers to gather feedback, clarify job responsibilities, and capture evolving business needs to include them in the updated job descriptions.
  • Project Reporting: Prepare periodic updates on progress, challenges, and recommendations related to assigned projects.
