About The Position

We are looking to hire talented individuals interested in training within our business. This role focuses on safely moving product for customers, with a strong emphasis on safety and performance. Trainees will be trained to pick and pull orders and operate a forklift to efficiently load and move product. The shift is first shift, starting at 4:30 am and ending around 1:00 pm, with potential for overtime and pay increases as skills are mastered. This role involves regular movement, including standing, sitting, walking, and moving up to 100 pounds, as well as driving heavy equipment outdoors in various weather conditions.

Requirements

Ability to learn and master the operation of a chainsaw and forklift.
Strong attention to detail, planning and organizational skills.
Ability to work within a team to solve customer problems and complete general tasks.
Willing to work outside, regularly moving, in the elements five days a week and occasional weekends.
Ability to continuously work while standing, sitting, and driving equipment throughout the day.
Ability to work while lifting up to 50lbs.
Ability to work while moving and sliding up to 100lbs.
Basic computer skills.
High school diploma or GED required.
A proven track record of successful performance at school and work.
Be coachable and willing to seek input from management and team.
Be committed to customer service and safety.
Be committed to wear the required personal protective equipment without being prompted.

Responsibilities

Safely move product for customers.
Pick and pull orders.
Operate a forklift to efficiently load and move product.
Accurately count, measure, and document daily inventory for shipping and receiving.
Maintain all Weyerhaeuser equipment to efficiently cut and move product to designated areas.
Take personal safety and the safety of others very seriously.
Speak up about anything unsafe.
