About The Position

We’re hiring an Entry-Level Event Assistant to support nonprofit fundraising events and community outreach initiatives. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy working with people, giving back to the community, and gaining hands-on experience in charity events, nonprofit outreach, and event coordination . No prior experience is required. We provide hands-on training, mentorship, and ongoing support to help you succeed from day one. About the Role As an Event Assistant, you’ll represent nonprofit organizations at live fundraising events, community events, and outreach campaigns . You’ll help create positive donor experiences while raising awareness for meaningful causes that make a real impact. This is a public-facing, team-oriented position well suited for recent graduates, career starters, or individuals looking to build experience in the nonprofit or events industry.

Requirements

• Entry-level position — no prior experience required
• Positive, outgoing, and people-focused attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in nonprofit work, community outreach, fundraising, or event planning
• Ability to thrive in a team-based, fast-paced environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup, coordination, and breakdown
• Greet and engage donors, attendees, and volunteers in a friendly and professional manner
• Communicate nonprofit missions, programs, and community initiatives
• Support fundraising and awareness campaigns at live events
• Adapt quickly in fast-paced event environments while maintaining excellent engagement
• Collaborate with event coordinators and team members to ensure smooth event execution
