About The Position

Working directly with a well-known and respected client, the company is looking for an Event Marketing Assistant to join its expanding team. With no experience required, the Event Marketing Assistant will play a vital, customer-facing role in supporting the performance and success of the relevant marketing teams by ensuring day-to-day objectives and targets are met. The successful candidate will be fully trained in every corner of the company to work on its highest-profile marketing campaigns. Learning and development are significant to the company, and it will invest heavily in training to ensure the assistant meets company standards and achieves continued progression within the company.

Requirements

• A proven desire to pursue a marketing, sales or customer service career
• No Experience necessary, but you must be coachable and eager to learn
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Confident communicator and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good time management skills with the ability to operate to tight deadlines, proactive and demonstrating initiative and enthusiasm
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team
• A dynamic personality

Responsibilities

• Responding to specific tasks, as appropriate within your team and independently on occasion
• Acting as internal liaison between the customer and the client
• Assisting in ensuring fundraising targets are met
• Attending all meetings and workshops
• Constantly striving to improve cost-effectiveness and customer service
• Liaising with customers and ensuring that their requests are dealt with efficiently
• Producing detailed and accurate reports of donations
• Reporting weekly (or earlier as appropriate) to Managing Director on the progress of work
• Developing remarkable customer service skills to match the company's standards
